Relief Drive: Benefitting the victims of the East 181st St. fire in the Bronx

Countless families are in need following a fire in a high-rise building in the Bronx that killed 17, hospitalized more than 40 and displaced at least 20 families on January 9.

That is why the Suffolk County Police Department, in conjunction with local businesses, charities and organizations, is accepting donations of essential goods to bring relief to these fellow New Yorkers. Collections can be dropped off at any of the seven Suffolk County Police precincts or Police Headquarters in Yaphank by Friday. All donations will be transported to the Bronx next week and distributed to families in need.

For more information, contact the Suffolk County Police Department Community Relations Bureau at JoinSCPD@SuffolkCountyNY.gov.
